How to Build Trust Back in Relationship

Trust is the foundation of a long lasting relationship. Trust needs to be earned not only in relationships but in everything that we do and when the trust is lost it takes hard work and pain even to build the trust into the relationship again. But through the hard work and pain you make your relationship stronger. Her are some of the tips that I believe will help build trust in relationship again:
  1. Admit your faults: Put everything clear so that there is nothing that will stop the trust form being built. If you feel you wronged you partner, admitting to your faults is a good start. Do not give excuses or stories as to why you did what you did. This way the two of you get to work on the why and how and once done, you are on your way to building trust in your relationship.
  2. Be truthful and open: Do not hide things from your partner because no matter how tight you think your secret is, it will come out one day. So you are better off sharing your thoughts and issues and find a solution together. Honesty will consolidate trust in your relationship.
  3. Be stable and reliable: A relationship needs to be steady, Consistency  and stability are more imperative for the maintenance of a relationship than a vast diversity in a relationship.
  4. Patience: Any relationship needs patience. Give your partner time to come to terms to what happened. You obviously love your partner, so give him/her time to heal time.
  5. Communication: It is good to discuss your feelings and tell or show your partner what you need. This way your partner will know you consider his/her opinion and is considered worth being by your side and he/she will trust you more.
Maintaining a healthy relationship needs trust and once the trust is lost, building the trust back needs work and it also needs honesty. So no matter how much the truth hurts honesty is the key.
